I've changed the syllabus to reflect our snow day. Some things we'll have to do a little earlier than originally planned to meet deadlines, but mostly everything is just delayed a day. As I check the weather, it looks like Thursday morning (tomorrow) might be bad, too. I wonder if class will be canceled again. If so, I'll rearrange again--remember, when class is canceled faculty are not to create new assignments or expect things to be completed.

When the university is closed due to inclement weather, all academic instruction and activities, online or in-person, on or off campus, will cease until the university officially reopens. Since there is no guarantee of the ability to communicate or access academic resources, students will not be expected to attend class online, submit assignments, take exams or meet any scheduled deadlines during the closure.
