Here is the poem I found that reminded me of the Hirschfield chapter. I like that she personifies her "crazy" as a visitor that does physical things like put her flowers in a vase and makes its own decisions separate from Brenna's. This crazy is literally an inward-facing thing and figuratively an outward being that does things to Brenna. Which I think is pretty cool.

Hey Gabriella,
I like how you used this poem to describe this Hirschfield chapter. Her personifying this "crazy" to make it a separate individual, while it is something apart of her, is very interesting. Describing a mental illness like this shows us how impactful it is to the person it affects. Most of the time people can resonate with this disconnect that they experience within their own battles. Thanks for sharing with us your poem.
