(tw suicide mention in like one line) This poem uses so many ways to say what it wants to without ever dorectly stating it. This poem is about the struggles of poverty and a rural religious background, yet it never once mentions money. Also, the mention of being "from" several different places reminds me of the indirection in this chapter. It is less about the literal meaning and more about the feeling those locatoons give.

I like your comment about the use of being "from" somewhere or multiple places in the poem. Similar to the chapter, indirection leads all over the place to develop a more accurate image of its subject.
