I find this poem original for a few reasons. At first glance, I was drawn in by its unique structure. The short lines running down the page remind me of a stream of consciousness, which brings me to the next thing I find original about this poem. The voice reads like a train of thought. I feel like I'm sitting outside the door with the poet as I read.
