I really enjoy this selection. It's literally about the writer reminiscing about the past. And every sensory detail adds to this memory of childlike wonder - from the sight and to the smell. It feels colorful and warm yet fuzzy, must be how the writer sees their memory and the kind of emotions they incite when looking back. I think this chapter most of all wants us to realize that it is capturing the emotion is what that gives significance to a memory. And this poem definitely does that.
What's going on with this poem "aurally"? I feel like the sound/music of the poem are worth mentioning. Thoughts?
