"Awareness of emptiness brings forth the heart of compassion."
What this chapter really imparted in me was the idea of transforming the consciousness. There is a brief moment of time, the space in between seconds, the space between words of a sentence that the poet lies in. There they live in, in my opinion, infinite. A new truth is discovered as previous sanctioned beliefs is abandoned. This moment could either be interpreted as destructive or empty. What is born out of this process is a renewed wisdom - a present thinking. In a way this chapter is describing enlightenment. The barren void of the abyss could hold all the answers to all of life's mysteries. Who's to say it's not the origin of all things? It's this returning back to the roots, this destruction and reverse engineering of the mind to a single present point of realization that, moving forward, brings forth the truth.
