For Monday, please read Section 1 of Sacrilegion by L. Lamar Wilson Pages 1 - 8. You'll want to use your "Reading as a Writer" lens as you read and add to your Strategies Toolbox. Come to class with 2 or 3 strategies you found from the reading.
You'll probably also want to familiarize yourself with Wilson and his work.
As we also begin to consider queer poetry/queer poetics, please read “Queer Poetics: Deviant Swerves, in Three” by Ren Ellis Neyra from The Cambridge Companion to Queer Studies and create an x-page in your notebook.
