I chose this poem as an example of imagery because of its sensory details and descriptions such as 'whiskey burning,' and 'slammed me against the rough edges of a tree.' This poem also has a unique structure and interesting line breaks that cause the reader to slowly take in the intensity of the poems' subject matter and it's mental imagery.
