You'll need a composition notebook on the first day and every class after that. Please bring that to class as well as writing/drawing utensils.
You'll need access to the required texts, but you won't need to bring them to class. There are three required texts:
Nine Gates by Jane Hirshfield, The Practice of Poetry: Writing Exercises From Poets Who Teach by Robin Behn, and ONE anthology of your choice from this list:
