Here are the guidelines we came up with in class.
1. Thesis statement – underlining
Form your thesis statement as a question
You can state your question followed by the thesis statement
Present your outline
2. Description of your text
3. Exigence – “urgent need or demand” rhetorical situation – all the context from which your thesis arose
This is all a fancy way to say: “This is why I’m interested in the topic.”
4. Research context
5. Research you are using
