On Monday, February 13th, we began class starting with completing a notecard assignment which was a “circle chart” written on the white board. A few moments later Mr. Wenzel read a poem to officially begin class. The first 2 people called up to present were Loren and Erica. Loren presented about how Tumblr is a way to express your emotions through aesthetic photographs. You can follow other blogs and re-blog their posts that you relate too. Erica went up right after and presented a genre about sharks and how it is awful to harm them. She also showed a little clip of sharks. In the video it is mentioned that a live shark is worth 1,000 times more than a dead one. Alejandra then read her blog post 5 about freewriting. When Alejandra completed presenting her blog post, Mr. Wenzel asked the class to read and comment on a completed blog post assignment written by another student located on the bottom of Blog post 5 on his website. We then got introduced to paper #2 and the research proposal that is due on the 15th. To end the day, the whole class stood 10 in a row just like speed dating and shared our notecard with each other and giving advice to one another.
