Updates/Reminders for the last upcoming weeks:

-**Make sure your mini presentation goes on your portfolio!**

-**Project 3 must be ready by the 24th!**

-If you have a 0 for Project 2, email mwenzel@fsu.edu with project 2 final in the title

-Go to the RWC if you need help/don’t know what a comma splice is

-Post final reflections

-Your final grade comes from the portfolio

Project 3- Pitch:

-1 minute presentation in front of the class talking about project 3

-Create 3 genres to show how great your community is/what you want others to take away from it

-It is not a summary, you are “selling” your work

-Failure is not an option!!

How to Make a Pitch:

-Don’t read off a notecard

-You can videotape it

-Tell why your product or service is needed

-Be concise, practice, and give an overview

-Show why you’re worth investing in

-Include benefits and results (1 or 2 key features)

-Less is more!

-Avoid jargon
