MONDAY, JANUARY 7
On the first day of class each student introduced themselves. Mat went over portions of the syllabus. Some things to note:
ENC2135 has a unique attendance policy as well as a unique grade requirement.
The major form of communication is the wix website--not Canvas.
Students should bring a laptop/digital device to class each day.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9
More syllabus information was discussed.
The class also formed response groups of 3 to 4 students. These groups traded contact information so they can consistently communicate throughout the term.

The class made portfolios on WIX together.
Mat went over some questions students still had about the course and syllabus.
