This course will develop your skill in identifying, researching, and manipulating genres that are practical to your chosen field of study and that you find interesting.
Genre knowledge and practice will be applied to communities in which you have been or are already a part of, communities you are gravitating toward, and communities for which you have an important message.
Use the BBG search feature to do some research on rhetorical situation. You can use other resources, too, like Google. Create a video/audio clip about YOUR rhetorical situation for the projects in this class--your particular rhetorical situation (we are all students and the assignments are required--that's a tiny part of it, but not your particular rhetorical situation.)

The rhetorical situation of my personal narrative focused on showing my audience who I am and how I became a Seminole through snippets of major events from my life. Each event revealed something new about me in a sense and how I dealt with adversity throughout my life to get to where I am today. Furthermore, I utilized the rhetoric that appealed to my audience’s emotions, pathos. I thought it was essential to use pathos because it’ll help my audience to imagine what each moment was like and what it felt like.
