We started class by answering on our index card the genre we felt best described the article “I Once Was Miss America”. Mat then answered some of the questions we turned in from the prior class. Mat provided us with helpful tips including “The only way you can fail is not do what Mat says”, and “If you want an A in the class you will get an A”. In class we broke into groups and shared our take on the reading “I Once Was Miss America”. As well as share contact information with one another, so that we may ask any questions we may have, and share rough drafts. Our assignment for the weekend was to start on our shitty first draft of our personal narrative with a minimum of 750 words and upload it to wix and share it with our small groups. As well as read the second chapter of BBG and upload the link of our audio recording to the class site.
