We began class with our daily attendance index card where we briefly described the best thing we have ever written. Mat then scheduled each of our presentations for ________ on the class calendar. Following that, we listened to a person of our choice respond to The Bedford Book of Genre’s chapter one and gained an insight on someone else’s view alongside having to create a human-like comment, on Soundcloud. The comment was supposed to have kept purpose, audience, and tone in mind. We then exchanged with a partner what we wrote and a few of us shared with Mat and the rest of the class.

A class discussion then took place in regards to our experience in English, from the types of poems we have previously written to the types of essays we’ve written. We then wrote on our index card about our “dream genre” (what we wish we could be phenomenal at producing).

Finally Mat informed us as to how we could create a portfolio for his class on Wix and we began to actually start our portfolio under his guidance. IMPORTANT NOTE: Compose in a word doc then copy and paste it into Wix, DO NOT TYPE DIRECTLY INTO WIX!!!!!!!
